The Delaware Tech softball squad moved to 10-2 on the time soon after defeating Montgomery County Community Faculty and Local community College Baltimore County – Catonsville in twin doubleheaders Saturday and Sunday at their Georgetown campus.

The ladies of Del Tech scored a 19- acquire in the opening video game with Montgomery County Neighborhood University and adopted with a 19- 2nd-match victory. They kept the bats very hot on Sunday with an 11-1 acquire in recreation one particular with CCBC-Catonsville and 11- in the next. Del Tech outscored their opponents 60-1 on the weekend.

The next MCCC win gave head coach Dude Wilkins his 100th victory at Del Tech.

“I felt our bats ended up a substantial job in our 4- weekend,” claimed pitcher Lauren Smith. “The pitchers did a wonderful job along with protection when needing to make a play in the field. I cannot hold out to see the place this crew usually takes us this year.”

“I have a great bunch of ladies that appreciate to enjoy softball and have exciting,” mentioned head mentor Dude Wilkins. “I’m lucky to have the sticks we have, and our pitching and protection have been good. The ladies are playing definitely nicely.”

Del Tech performs in Location 19 of the the Countrywide Junior College Athletic Affiliation. They will journey to Lackawanna University in Scranton, Pa., for a video game Saturday, April 17.
